I remember waking up early Saturday morning to help dad bake a cake.  As a kid this was a real treat even if it did come out of a Betty Crocker box.  I watched this tower of a man make an orange cake and I can remember how quiet we were in order not to wake up my brothers.  Through the morning whispers, a sudden silence would fall upon us in the kitchen as my father and I huddled closer together to slurp down the leftover batter left in the bowl and on the beaters.  I am sure this is how every culinarian chef began their journey!

I’m a graduate of one of the best schools in Virginia – J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, VA.  My Associate Degree in Culinary Arts provided me with a strong foundation for my new career.  I believe it's important to be excited and passionate about what you love to do and I think this is it... not only is it challenging, but it’s creative, fun, and I get to taste some pretty amazing food.  In my continuing thirst for education and perhaps enlightment, I have recently become certified as a Professional Chocolatier.  I'm a firm believer that a nice chocolate ganache over an orange cake sets a higher standard and that would make my father quite proud!       

As your Chef my mission is pretty simple:  To help create and provide you with healthy (and yes, dark chocolate provides major health benefits), nutritious meals with the finest and freshest ingredients available.  My commitment is to you and for you.  You deserve your time and I can help you get it back!
